Can you make money from your hobbies?

I work on forum and make money. Working on forum is my hobby, I am not doing this as a work for as a pass time affair and in the mean time I also earn money. I want to blog, which is also my hobby.

Working on a forum is a job and not a hobby. A hobby is something that you do in your free time to avoid stress while by the time you discover that you can convert your hobby to cash like labelled in the article as playing the guitar that starts as a hobby and ends by being a job.

I post on forum on my free time, and I post on forum to avoid the stress related to my studies. It is good that I can make money here but I m here for distressing myself. Therefore it is my hobby. Job is something that I would be doing for money.

It can be frustrating at times when you tag your hobby to income making, it gradually stops being a hobby and metamorphose into a job and gradually u start looking for a new hobby to ease you of the stress of this new job

These are really thoughtful. Yes, I believe people can make money from their hobbies. Some just love to paint and end up selling their pieces. Others are storytellers and these days, there are platforms where such skills are appreciated and you can make money out of them.

As I have heard if you think that you will do your hobby just for money then you will not be professional at your work however if you do your hobby with passion and love even it is a job you will be a good worker for people.

Making money from your hobby is a very good means and legit way to make money easier, even if it's stressful you won't feel it because that is what you love doing. Just find people or places that needs wants this hobby things you like

This is interesting but I do have one question a bit personal but how do I make money regarding the fact that my hobby is cooking,and no before you ask...I do not want to work as a chef!

Earning money from your passion sure is the best way to live your life. Sadly, not many people are able to do that because either lack of confidence, easy to give up, or lack of capital fund to start their business.

If you can make your hobby your profession, that's fine. In fact a lot of businesses were built from hobbies. I know many people in real life who built big business from their hobbies.

Making a liveable income purely from your hobby is the best possible job in the world. But it certainly not easy since many hobbies are simply hard to make into profitable business.
